Welcome to Craft Card Co. If you’ve ever looked at a handmade card and thought, “I wish I could make something like that,” I’m so glad you found your way here. I’m Chloe Harper, and I believe a handmade card is like a hug folded in half. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be made with heart.
This little corner of the internet is where I share the paper-crafting joy that’s followed me from ink-stained fingers to glitter that somehow still shows up in my laundry.
Not sure where to begin? Start with my easiest card tutorials, try one simple stamping technique, then build your stash as you go. One finished card beats ten half-started ideas every time.

How I fell in love with paper
My earliest crafting memories live at my grandmother’s dining table. It was the kind of table that always had something on it: a stack of old photos, a tin of buttons, a pair of scissors that “only cut paper,” and at least one ink pad with its lid mysteriously missing. She taught me how to scrapbook first, slowly and patiently, like it was a story we were building together.
Before long, birthdays meant a handmade card, slightly crooked, heavily glittered, and bursting with enthusiasm. That sweet hobby turned into a regular obsession with paper textures, die-cutting, embossing, stamping, and that magical moment when a project finally looks like it did in your head.
No formal art training over here, just years of cheerful trial and error. I’ve used the wrong adhesive more times than I can count. I’ve stamped upside down, cracked foam tape in half with my fingernail, and learned the hard way that not all cardstocks score the same. Every “oops” became a tip I could share with someone else.
Why Craft Card Co. exists
Craft Card Co. is here to make paper crafting feel welcoming, doable, and genuinely fun. The goal is for it to feel like crafting alongside a friend at the kitchen table, the kind of friend who will remind you to breathe, wipe the embossing powder off your hands, and try again.
My mission is simple: help crafters of all skill levels bring their handmade ideas to life with clear steps, real-world troubleshooting, and plenty of encouragement. Whether you craft for five minutes after dinner or spend an entire Saturday surrounded by patterned paper, you belong here.
What you’ll find here
If you’re wondering what kind of projects we do around here, think cards you can actually finish, layouts that help you use your photos instead of hoarding them, and techniques explained in a way that makes you excited to try them.
- Easy-to-follow card tutorials with supply suggestions and step-by-step instructions.
- Stamping techniques from clean and simple to layered, ink-blended goodness.
- Scrapbooking layouts designed to help your photos shine without feeling overwhelming.
- Die-cutting and embossing tips including how to avoid common headaches like warped panels and messy glue.
- Practical craft-room wisdom because the best projects come from a space that works for you, even if it’s a corner of the dining table.
Most tutorials are written with photos and quick checklists, and when a technique needs a little extra explanation, I’ll walk you through it step by step.
My crafting philosophy
Yes, I hoard patterned paper. Bold florals, tiny ginghams, soft watercolors, you name it. And because it’s easy to save the “good paper” forever, I’m always looking for layouts and card sketches that help you actually use what you have.
I also believe in a few crafting truths:
- Done is better than perfect. A heartfelt card with a slightly crooked sentiment still makes someone’s day.
- The right adhesive matters. If something keeps popping up, we will fix it together.
- You don’t need a huge supply stash. A few basics and a little creativity go a long way.
- Crafting should feel kind. No guilt, no pressure, just making things you love.
